Table 4. Comparison of location of femur fractures between males and females and players <13 years old and ≥ 13 years old.

Males and females were found to have an insignificant association with location of bone fracture (p-value = 0.77). Players <13 years of age were significantly more likely to have proximal and shaft femur fractures, while players ≥ 13 years of age were more likely to have distal femur fractures (p-value = 1.5e-7).
