University of Michigan Medical School Student Council monthly structure. In a typical month, each class meets individually to identify class-specific issues. These are brought to a meeting of all members of Student Council, where general issues and class-specific issues are discussed and solutions proposed. Finally, some members of Student Council present the issues and potential solutions to a monthly luncheon with medical school administrators.
