This chart illustrates the host behavior, mode of sporulation, and host vitality that delineate which pathogens employ AHT, summit disease, or no behavioral manipulation during infection. The following fungus–host combinations are as follows: Strongwellsea aff. castrans–Hylemya vagans; Furia ithacensis–Rhagionidae; Ophiocordyceps spp.; Massospora cicadina–Magicicada septendecim; and Metarhizium anisopliae–Magicicada septendecim.
