Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 1224 (LINC01224) depletion impairs epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) tumor growth in vivo. (A) Caov-3 cells stably expressing LINC01224 short hairpin RNA (sh-LINC01224) or negative control short hairpin RNA (sh-NC) were subcutaneously inoculated into the flank of nude mice. The growth curve of tumor xenografts was plotted by detecting tumor volume at different time points. (B) The tumor xenografts obtained from sh-LINC01224 or sh-NC groups. (C) The tumor xenografts collected from sh-LINC01224 or sh-NC groups were weighed at 4 weeks post-injection. (D and E) qRT-PCR was used to analyze the expression of LINC01224 and miR-485-5p in tumor xenografts. (F) Western blotting was performed to assess the protein level of p21‑activated kinase 4 (PAK4) in tumor xenografts. Glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH) served as a loading control. **P < 0.01.
