Localization of (A) curcumin, (B) B(Cur)2, (C) Fe(Cur)3 and (D) DMSO vehicle in MDA-MB-231 cells. Cells were seeded at subconflu-ency and left to attach overnight at 37°C with 5% CO2. The following day, cells were treated with IC50 doses of curcumin, B(Cur)2 or Fe(Cur)3 (green) for 5 min and subsequently fixed. Cells were counterstained with DAPI as a nuclear stain (blue).
