The immunoreactivity score (IRS) is given as median with the range in brackets. Immunoreactivity was evaluated using a 0–3 scale (0 = absent, 1 = weak, 2 = moderate, 3 = strong staining). In addition, the number of positive cells was evaluated 0 = absent, 1 = rare, 2 = sparse, 3 = high). The product of these two scores (IRS) was calculated for each case. n = 5 (FCD IIb, TSC).
