(B–D) Scatterplots demonstrate that LVDP, + dP/dt and −dP/dt were similar in hearts from middle-aged and older mice of both sexes. Data were analyzed by two-way ANOVA with age and sex as main factors (post-hoc test was Holm-Sidak). Samples were hearts from 11 middle-aged male mice, 14 older males, 15 middle-aged females and 11 older females, respectively.
