Transcript levels of the HMGS, ERG3 and ERG4 genes from the X. dendrorhous strains studied in this work. Relative transcript levels of genes (A) ERG3, (B) ERG4, and (C) HMGS were determined by RT-qPCR after 120 h of culture and normalized to the housekeeping gene encoding β-actin (GenBank: X89898.1).
