Effect of P2X7 receptor (P2X7R), P2X1 receptor (P2X1R), and ANG II type 1 receptor (AT1R) blockade on the afferent arteriolar response to increased renal perfusion pressure (RPP) in hypertensive rats. Afferent arteriolar responses to increases in RPP (n = 5) were followed by treatment with P2X1R inhibitor (P2X1Ri) plus P2X7R inhibitor (P2X7Ri) and after the addition of AT1R inhibitor (AT1Ri) alone.
