Formation of vinculin-containing focal adhesions (FA) of SCP1-HAS-eGFP and SCP1-mock cells. Cells without or with hyaluronidase (HAse) treatment were seeded under serum-free condition onto the surface of tissue culture dishes (TCPS) or type I collagen (Col-I) and cultured for 20, 40 and 90 min. (A) Representative fluorescence micrographs of untreated cells stained for vinculin after 20 min of adhesion. Nuclei are counterstained with DAPI.
