Sjp40 and Sjp90α induce hepatic inflammatory responses. Hepatic immune cells (2 × 106) from S. japonicum-infected mice were stimulated with rSjp40 (20 μg/mL), rSjp90α (20 μg/mL) and SEA (20 μg/mL) for 48 h, respectively, then the proportions of hepatic immune cell subsets were investigated. Gating strategy (a) and the percentages of macrophages (F4/80+ CD11c) (b), dendric cells (F4/80 CD11c+) (c), eosinophilic cells (Siglecf+ CD11c) (d), and granulocytes (Gr1+CD11c) (e) in inflammatory cells were analyzed by FACS. Data are expressed as the mean ± SEM (n = 5 each group), *** p < 0.001, * p < 0.05 (ANOVA/LSD).
