Wood formation-related genes analyzed by qRT-PCR. Eight genes involved in secondary wall biosynthesis were evaluated: Ptr4CL3, PtrCAD10, PtrC4H1, and PtrCCoAOMT1, PtrMYB90, PtrFRA1, PtrSuS1, and PtrTUB7. TUA1 (a) and UBQ1 (b) were used as internal control genes, and transcript levels of genes in WT plants were set to 1. The data are the mean ± SE from three biological replicates.
