Brain MRI. (A) MRI of patient 1 at three years of age showed areal leukoencephalopathy in the occipital periventricular areas bilaterally, without acute changes. (B) MRI of patient 2 at one year of age showed areal leukoencephalopathy in the occipital periventricular areas bilaterally, without acute changes. (C) MRI of patient 5 at seven years of age showed dysgenesis of corpus callosum, hydrocephalus on V-P drainage. (D) MRI of patient 7 at one year of age showed progressive diffuse brain atrophy.
