At 12 months of follow-up, the observed incidence of recurrent VTE was 0% (95% CI 0%–0%), 2.5% (0.7%–4.3%), 6.7% (2.5%–10.9%), and 14.4% (9.9%–18.9%) for the predicted probability categories 0% to 2% (n = 40), >2% to 4% (n = 284), >4% to 5% (n = 134), and higher than 5% (n = 236), respectively.
