Effect of freezing stress on relative expression of (a) Ca²⁺ content, (b) OsCNGC6 gene (encodes a cyclic nucleotide-gated ion channel) OsCNGC6 gene (encodes a cyclic nucleotide-gated ion channel) and (c) OsCPK17 (encodes a Ca²⁺-dependent protein kinase), (d) NHX1 gene (encodes a vacuolar Na⁺/H⁺ antiporter), (e) LEA (encodes late embryogenesis abundant proteins) and (f) P5CS gene (encodes 1-pyrroline-5-carboxylate synthetase). The measurements were conducted in Fritillaria plants at days 7, 14 and 21 days after snowing (7, 14 and 21 DAS). Data are the means and standard errors of four replicates (n = 4). Data with different letters reveal statistically significant differences among the treatments according to a Duncan’s multiple range test (p < 0.05).
