Bedside cannulation with the use of fluoroscopy and transthoracic echocardiogram (TTE). Equipment is positioned around the patient allowing the operator and assistant to be positioned at the head of the bed. In the absence of the availability of fluoroscopy, the procedure can be completed with the use of a portable chest X‐ray in combination with TTE.
