Differential cell counts in BALF. Eosinophil, neutrophil, and lymphocyte counts were increased significantly in the asthma and EB groups compared to the NS group, while the macrophage counts were reduced. DXM administration decreased these changes (^#p < 0.01; ANOVA). Data expressed as mean ± standard deviation (seven animals per group).
