Assessment of the somatic hybrid (SH) 95/1, between potato cv. ‘Delikat’ and Solanum bulbocastanum (blb41) and derived back-crossed progenies BC₁ and BC₂ (the cultivar used for crossing is indicated), for the presence of the resistance genes as revealed by gene specific markers, functional profiling of Avr genes by agro-infiltration, resistance to late blight in a detached leaf assay (DLA) and in the field (Δ-rAUDPC); standard varieties ‘Adretta’ (susceptible) and ‘Sarpo Mira’ (resistant to late blight) were used; the year of the field assays is given as a subscript to each value of Δ-rAUDPC; from each genotype three plants and three leaflets were infiltrated, hypersensitive reaction is indicated by HR and lack of reaction by 0: the numbers in brackets indicate the number of repetitions with the same reaction.
