(ref. ²) was binned into 120 year means, centered on the same years as the Temperature 12k reconstruction, and shifted to match our reference period of 1800–1900 (∆T = 0 °C). The reconstruction of Shakun et al. (ref. ¹⁶) for the early Holocene was aligned to that of Marcott et al.’s (ref. ²) over their period of overlap.
