Smaller volume in bilateral and predominantly right medial frontal, anterior temporal, insular, pre- and post-central gyri regions was associated with worse empathic accuracy on the dynamic tracking task when controlling for diagnosis, age, sex, handedness, disease severity, cognitive functioning, scanner type and total intracranial volume.
