Lipid extraction and purification were performed on 50 μl of each fraction. The sphingolipid composition of the fractions was then analyzed by UPLC-MS. The results are expressed in picomoles of lipids per milligram of proteins for each chain length of ceramide and SM (mean ± SEM). Cyto, cytosol; H, homogenate.
