(B) Patients with high CSF antibody titers experienced more clinical symptoms than those with low CSF antibody titers (a vs b: mean 4.06 ± 0.98 vs 1.88 ± 0.86, P = 0.000; c vs d: mean 2.29 ± 1.0 vs 1.50 ± 0.79, P = 0.006). Similarly, more clinical symptoms were observed in the female patients than in the male patients (a vs c: mean 4.06 ± 0.98 vs 2.29 ± 1.0, P = 0.000).
