Regular use was defined as using an ECIG some days or most days.
Response options for liquid nicotine concentration ranged from 0 to 36 mg/ml. Some pod mods, such as Juul, contain liquids that have concentrations higher than 36 mg/ml.
Items from the 4-item E-Cigarette Dependence Scale (Morean et al., 2018) including “I find myself reaching for my e-cigarette without thinking about it,” “I drop everything to go out and buy e-cigarettes or e-juice,” I vape more before going into a situation where vaping is not allowed,” and “When I haven’t been able to vape for a few hours, the craving gets intolerable.”
