(a) Electron emission characteristics of C-beam pumping. The electrons emitted by the well organizing patterned CNT emitters transmit the gate with an electron transmission ratio of 92.9% (inset: the SEM image of CNT emitters). (b) UV spectra of three different sapphire wafers with C-beam pumping. The peak intensity depends on the used sapphire wafers. The lower the peak intensity of the XRD results, the weaker the peak irradiance of the UV spectra and the red shift of the peak wavelength occurs. Far UVC light generation with C-beam pumping is affected by the crystalline quality of the sapphire wafer.
