UBR5 increases M2E and M4E cell proliferation. The Cell Counting Kit-8 assay was employed to evaluate the role of UBR5 in the proliferation of M2E and M4E cells. (A and B) Silencing UBR5 significantly decreased cell proliferation, whereas (C and D) overexpression of UBR5 significantly increased cell proliferation compared with the control group. Cell cycle analysis revealed that the percentage of S phase cells was comparable among (E) untreated, (F) vector and (G) UBR5-overexpressing cells. Compared with the (H) control group, the percentage of S phase cells was significantly decreased in the (I) UBR5 si-RNA-1 and (J) UBR5 si-RNA-2 groups (P<0.05).
