Arid soil microbiology co-authorship network. Each node represents an author publishing in the articles included in this review. The network was created using Cytoscape software [36] by entering the title of the article in the PubMed query bar within the Social Network App [22]. Node size represents the cumulative number of the author’s publication citation counts as automatically retrieved from PubMed based on the set of publications associated with the node (the count only includes citations of publications that are in PubMed Central). Thickness of the edges connecting the nodes represents the number of publications the two authors have published together. Double size nodes indicate the author has more than 50% of the betweenness centrality values in the network, also called keystone authors. ac represent the three largest module-networks
