V. fischeri is highly resistant to ampicillin.
Zeocin has been used at a working concentration of 10 μg/mL in LB, but further optimization is necessary to enhance selectivity (Visick, Hodge-Hanson, Tischler, Bennett, & Mastrodomenico, 2018).
