At three, six and twelve weeks post myocardial infarction (MI), respectively, qRT-PCR was performed with specific primers for PDLIM5 (A), ANP (B), BNP (C) and β-MHC (D), GAPDH was used as an internal control; Western blotting analysis was carried out with primary PDLIM5 antibody (E) and pooled data (±SEM) (F), GAPDH was used as a loading control; Primary cardiomyocytes were transfected with miRNA-27a* mimic and inhibitor, respectively and then subjected to western blotting analysis with PDLIM5 primary antibody, β-actin was used as a loading control (G). Data is representative of three independent experiments (±SEM) (H and I).
