Acute sleep deprivation did not affect propagation speed or propagation failure of CSD in rats. Control groups for 6 h and 12 h sleep deprivation were pooled for statistical analysis, as no significant difference was found between the two control groups

Measurements were made of the first CSD recorded after topical KCl application
