Change in rectal temperature in the NT/sham, NT/IR, HT/sham and HT/IR groups for 30 min before and after IR. Normothermia (37.0±0.2°C) or hyperthermia (39.5±0.2°C) was controlled for 30 min before and during IR. Temperature in the NT/sham and HT/sham groups returned to normal body temperature at 30 min after sham IR; however, temperature in the NT/IR and HT/IR groups was slightly increased at 30 min after IR.
