Power curve showing the correlation between the number of spermatozoa in the spermiogram and the number of mature spermatids (Sc + Sd) per cross-sectioned tubule. If the number of mature spermatids is correlated to that of spermatozoa in spermiogram, the oligozoospermia is of the pure secretory type. If the number of mature spermatids is higher than that of spermatozoa in spermiogram, the disorder is either an obstructive azoospermia with ‘normal’ testicular biopsy or a mixed obstructive secretory oligozoospermia.
