Dieldrin-related differentially expressed genes (DEGs) for male and female animals were placed into the STRING network tool to investigate known interactions between the proteins encoded by the genes. We found a high degree of interconnectivity for both the male and female gene lists. A) In males, 7 of the 9 (77.8%) DEGs had known interactions. B) In females, 16 of the 18 (88.8%) DEGs had known interactions.
