Impact of defined cigarette consumption on blood plasma levels of the endogenous AO GSH. sSm (n = 10) were allowed to smoke two cigarettes in a time interval of 15 min (sSm), while nSm (n = 10) were subjected to fresh air consumption for the same time span. Measurements were done in blood plasma samples taken 4 h after smoking using a fluorimetric assay.
