Impact of defined cigarette consumption on blood plasma levels of IL-22. sSm (n = 10) were allowed to smoke two cigarettes in a time interval of 15 min (sSm), while nSm (n = 10) were subjected to fresh air consumption for the same time span. Measurements were done in blood serum samples taken before (0 h) and 4 h after smoking by ELISA.
