A. Extracts of freshly-isolated unstimulated WT and Timp-1−/− PMNs were prepared and assayed in duplicate to quantify Mmp-8 levels using an ELISA.
B. WT and Timp-1−/− PMNs were incubated at 37°C with or without 10−6M fMLP for 30 min and cell-free supernatants samples harvested and assayed in duplicate to quantify Mmp-8 levels using an ELISA.
