Rab27a localization in the spinal cord. (A) Immunostaining experiments detected Rab27a in the dorsal horn and in some ventral horn neurons. No specific signal was detected by omitting the primary antibody (A’, negative control). (BD’’) Double immunolabeling experiments with established markers revealed that Rab27a colocalizes with calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) (BB’’) and isolectin B4 (IB4) (CC’’), while there was virtually no co-expression with neurofilament 200 (NF200) (D–D’’).
