Effects of lactic acid on histamine release from HLMCs induced by gp120, H-aIgE or anti-FcεRI. HLMCs were either treated with buffer or lactic acid (0.01 M, pH 3.9, 5 min at 22 °C) and washed twice. HLMCs were then challenged (30 min at 37 °C) with gp120 (10 nM), H-aIgE (1 μg/mL), or anti-FcεRI (1 μg/mL).
