Pattern Key radiological features
Masses Solitary or multiple nodules, masses or mass-like consolidation, the masses usually ranging from 0.5 to 8 cm in diameter. Some masses may show cavitation
Consolidation Area of opacification with poorly defined margins and air bronchograms seen within. Subsegmental to lobar involvement.
Ground glass Rare, Bilateral diffuse ground-glass opacities.
Lymphangitis/ perilymphatic Thickening of bronchovascular bundles and interlobular septae
