AN07 restores the down-regulation of Parkin (A), phosphatase and tensin homolog (PTEN)-induced putative kinase 1 (pink1) (B), and DJ-1 (Parkinson disease protein 7, PARK7) (C) in methylglyoxal (MG)-treated SH-SY5Y cells. SH-SY5Y cells were pre-treated with AN07 (0.01–1.0 μM) for 1 h and then exposed to 600 μM MG for another 24 h. Upper panels, representative immunoblots.
