Table 4.

Comparison of polyphenol oxidase (PPO) content (U/mL) and its specific activity (U/ug) between Artemisia annua control plants and AMF-treated plants. ANOVA followed by Tukey’s test were used to compare variables. Statistically significant differences at p > 0.05 were considered. In the case of the semi-open field experiment three plants/treatments/blocks (24 AMF treated and 24 control, no-AMF plants) were used, while, in the case of the open field soil experiment, eight plants/blocks were assessed.
