Inhibition of PMA-stimulated neutrophil ROS production by germacrene D. (A) Neutrophils were treated with 1% DMSO (negative control) or the indicated concentrations of germacrene D. After 10 min of preincubation, the cells were activated with 200 nM PMA (indicated by an arrow), and ROS production was monitored using an L-012-amplified assay system. (B) Relative integrated luminescence (120 min) is shown as the luminescence ratio normalized to background (1% DMSO) and plotted against germacrene D concentrations.
