Group	Treatment
EN	Animals with catheters placement and abdominal incision, but no bowel resection. Animals received regular enteral nutrition but not TPN.
TPN	Animals with catheters placement and abdominal incision, but no bowel resection. Animals received TPN but not enteral nutrition.
SBS	Animals with catheters placement and abdominal incision. Distal bowel resection with ileo-colonic anastomosis. Animals received TPN but not enteral nutrition.
