RNAscope in situ hybridization identifies cells containing TRPM5 but not TAS2R38 RNA in sinonasal epithelium. Sinonasal tissues were examined using RNAscope with probes against TRPM5 and TAS2R38 followed by IHC with anti-acetylated tubulin (Ac-Tub) antibodies. TRPM5 RNA fluorescence is observed as a punctate star-like pattern associated with cell nuclei.
