BmSP44 is a secreted protein pf B. microti. The immunolocalization of BmSP44 on the membrane of the B. microti and the cytoplasm of the iRBCs were examined by IFA with anti-BmSP44 sera. The obvious green fluorescent staining is observed on the membrane of the parasite and the cytoplasm of the iRBCs.
