The most prevalent primary histological diagnoses were multinodular goiter, papillary thyroid carcinoma and Graves’ disease. Most common associations of primary and secondary histological diagnoses were nodular goiter/Hashimoto’s thyroiditis (12 cases), papillary thyroid carcinoma/Hashimoto’s thyroiditis (4 cases), papillary thyroid carcinoma/Graves’ disease (3 cases) and medullary thyroid carcinoma/C cell hyperplasia (3 cases). * Primary diagnosis: result from completion thyroidectomy
