Phylogenetic analysis on the galactose-sulfurylase II family in Chondrus. The evolutionary history was inferred by using the Maximum Likelihood method and Whelan And Goldman model50. The unrooted phylogenetic tree with the highest log likelihood (−5,187.58) is shown. The tree is drawn to scale, with branch lengths measured in the number of substitutions per site. This analysis involved 16 amino acid sequences. There were a total of 263 positions in the final dataset. Bootstraps above 70 are shown. Evolutionary analyses were conducted in MEGA X51. The newly identified putative galactose-sulfurylase enzymes are marked with an asterisk.
