High diffusion signal leads to a false positive report of a skull lesion (arrow a), in-phase Dixon images show the lesion to not be within the skull and instead relate to thickening of subcutaneous facia (arrow b). Synonymous to this we also found sub-occipital lymph nodes can lead to false positive reporting of focal lesions within the skull
