Effects of PA on UVA-irradiated HDF cells. Effects of PA on production of intracellular ROS (A) and pro-inflammatory mediators NO (B) and PGE₂ (C) in UVA-irradiated HDF cells. Intracellular ROS levels were measured by DCF-DA assay. The amount of NO was measured by Griess reaction Assay. PGE₂ production was measured by commercial ELISA kits, following the manufacturer’s instructions. Values are expressed as the mean ± SD in triplicate experiments. ^## p < 0.01 indicates a significant difference compared to the control group. * p < 0.05 and ** p < 0.01 indicate a significant difference compared to the only UVA-irradiated groups.
