Representative image is shown. Densitometric analysis was performed for (b) APP (n = 6 animals), (c) BACE1 (n = 7 animals), and (d) ADAM10 (n = 5 animals; *P < 0.05). BACE enzymatic activity was measured from 18-month-old eNOS+/− and wild type (e) microvascular tissue via a commercially available BACE activity assay kit (n = 3–4).
