Spearman’s correlation coefficients of HMGCS1 to various clinical parameters were determined using a tissue microarray of 149 lymph-node positive breast cancer biopsies as described in Fig 4A. Associations with a p-value of ≤0.05 were considered to be statistically relevant. All statistical analysis was computed in SPSS (IBM, version 20).
